Is there a purpose for the air redirector under the front end of the car? I feel that it is VERY unattractive and i have taken it off, but if it serves a purpose (besides making the car look bad :gay: ) i guess i'll put it back on. what difference does it make aerodynamically? is the reomoval of the part damaging to the car?

It's a pretty contested topic... It does server a purpose, but a few people doubt the importance of it's purpose. IIRC, it creates a low pressure area behind it, and helps cool the engine compartment (by causing air to flow up into it) and/or increase flow into the radiator.
