Supposed to be the same pump but many of us have switched after the stage 3 pump took a shit on us. Just make sure its the high flo pump. They look the same but one is lo flow and the other is, well duh, high flow. The ones on ebay are almost always low flow knock offs. Buy from a good vendor.

 

It's a good idea to use the Walbro 255, but not required. The Stage 3 pumps do has some issues thou.

We don't even bother installing the supplied pump that comes with the S3R kits, we normally just recommend & install the Walbro 255. I know from personal experience since mine crapped out not even weeks into owning the kit.

We sell Walbro pumps as well as a few other local's.

 

My stg3 pump is still going strong. Go figure???? :eveilgrin
