sunroof? come on... when in racing does a sunroof come in handy?

It also adds more weight and decreases the rigidity of the body structure.

Go to agree with these guys and not to mention the 2 or so inches you lose in headroom. But if you're short (below 6'0") it won't matter.

What's the big deal about a sunroof? Sure they are nice but if the car doesn't come with one, how much trouble can it be to get one added after the fact? I've never had a car with one so I'm really not sure of the pros and cons of having one installed after the fact or how much $$ it will cost. Anyone care to clear this up :wink:

Well a factory sunroof will cost about half as much as an aftermarket roof and if you know you REALLY want a sunroof, get it from the factory b/c aftermarket roofs have a tendancy to leak. I saw a lot come back at the dealer I worked at.
