This started in another thread but was off topic so i brought it out on it's own.

The day after i got it, I've noticed my SRT-4 pulls to the left if you let the wheel go on the highway. Anyone else experience this? They tell me it's caused by the road. I'm going to another dealer for a 2nd opinion.

The crowning in the road can cause the car to drift, but interstates have minimal crowning. Try it on different roads...try parking lots...if it ALWAYS pulls to the left, check your tire pressures, and if those are OK, then take it back.

yeah i got that same prob.. always pulling right.. I think it's the tire pressure though... I haven't bought a new pressure gage yet so i haven't checked ...

and i'm just around 1/2 full and already got 101.1 mile on the trip :flame: , damn you ny, damn your streets to hell

You see, pulling to the right does seem to fit with crowing in the road, as the road slopes down to your right. But mine pulls left. And I already checked tire pressure.

sometimes even quality tires have radial pull. caused by the tire having a different diameter of thickness between the inner and outer portion of the tire. i had this problem w/ the michelins. the alignment was always in speck when checked by dodge, and always had a the pull to the left even when rotated and rebalanced. finally went to the track, got a little carried away w/ the burn out, and wore down the tread. both fronts just about bald, but one tire was bald on one half and still had tread on the other half.
new set of tires and no more pull.

discussed before, mine pulls terribly to the right, and its not due to improper tire inflating or becuase of the road 'tilt'. and the dealer knows its way worse than what it should be, and they won't fix it. mind you, it came off the lot as bad as it is.

That sucks. atleadt I got a good deal. There's actually a dealer closer to me than the one I purchsed from that has a 24 Hr service dept. If this damn hurricane/tropical storm wasn't droppin buckets right now, I'd be there.

Mine pulls to the left a little too. The steering wheel is actually turned a little to the left if you let go. If you hold the steering wheel straight and level the car goes straight. I took it in once to get aligned and it still pulls and the steering wheel is still tilted left. Haven't had a chance to take it back in yet. I know this place normally does an excellent job with alignments. They got my first gen dead straight and its been good for about two years now.

Hrm, I have the same problem. Tried a balance / alignment, nada. Still pulls to the left. Nothing major, like no instance left hand turn into the wall, but it's there. Nice to know I'm not alone.
