just as title says...is it worth it PERFORMANCE wise(money being NO issure in this case)? what can i expect to see? is it best to have it rigged up for WOT on the track? or on a separate purging type switch to purge when i stage at the track and thats it? how much increase in trap speeds? 1,2,3mph? or none?:( and how much increase in whp? 15? 20? 30? none? lol:( let me know your thoughts and feelings, thanks!

when i went to get dynoed there was a guy there who had a nx IC sprayer. i think he pulled like 8whp out of it. but this is in a hot ass garage with some cheap shit fan. i'd say it all depends on where you live, if you live in socal then i'd be nice to have in the summer time.

i gained 33 whp and 46 ft/lbs of torque. at the track, i mainly use it right before a run. eliminates heat soak. haven't really noticed any difference using it in 3rd or 4th gears. but i do notice my times are consistent 15x in a row...whereas everyone else gets a little worse run after run after run.....

worth it in my humble opinion if you like going to the track often. it's cheaper and safer than shooting it into your intake...but you don't get nearly as much power.

Yeah I guess it does make a difference, I too only use it before I run for heat soak, but the only time I really feel and or see the difference is when it's hot out and I push the button and with in seconds I can see my temp guage drop drammatically.

Like you said "performance wise" it's not worth it. Nitrous is expensive and filling up co2 and n20 is a pain. I believe a larger fmic will net you the type of gains you are looking for without the hastles and additional costs. If your looking for more power its proven and more efficient to spray n20 directly into your intake, simple enough. However, if this kit happened to fall on your lap some how since "money being NO issure in this case", I would install it on my car (hell, it makes your car look faster).

The reason why CO2 would not be the best option is beause once the CO2 is sprayed the cloud produced has to go somewhere.... that somewhere is right into your intake... hence killing any performance you would have gained!! CO2 displaces oxygen and does not work in your a/f mixture... yeah it is cheaper but one sniff of that into your intake and you will know when the guy next to ou passes you up... Stick with the nitrous and stop tring to be cheap..

I don't think are IC heat soaks, unless you run it at least 3 times in a row. I ran my car twice and never got kicked out of HOM and I was using 100% 93oct.

Then again, I have the IC sprayer... Which is about 1/3rd the cost of the N-tercooler ( if you build your own ).

I also agree with the people that said, " just buy a bigger IC ".

Wow, this thread is pretty old...
