It made my job easier to remove the entire battery first. After this everything is pretty easy. But make sure you use a box end wrench and bend the hard black coolant hose towards the engine so the rubber coolant hose doesn't rub against the intake pipe and crack or put a hole in it. Or wait until the new design comes out and try that one might be a little easier.
