:D First I would like to say the DP took a couple of hrs. The mbc, took about an hour yesterday. The MM inserts took about 30mins, top and bottom. And finally, the MSD wires took about 10 mins. WOW!! that is the best way I can discribe the differance in the power. I have the mbc set to 15lbs. The sound is just a little louder than stock. You can really hear the turbo now. I got on the freeway and got on it, 100mph comes a whole hell of a lot faster now. The best thing is you dont even have to nail the gas to get going quikly. Speed from a roll is just amazing. Before you really had to roll on the gas for the boost to start building, not anymore. The trq differance is great. More usefull in the lower rpm's now. My test drive went on for about 20 miles, And I did not notice one spike. So I am happy with it. Should be recieving my UPP some time this week or early next. I alredy have the hks bov, that looks really cool. When I install, will post results. One more thing, if you have an srt, or are still waiting for your, this mod is well worth the money!

So when you installed the rex inserts did you have to trim them at all, I trimed mine a little bit. They work great! I'd like to see your car! I'm only about 5 minutes from roseville, in fair oaks. If you need any help installing the upp with the BOV just PM me, I'd be glad to help. Mine was easy to install!

I'll see you at mopars on the green!

8) the only thing I did to the mounts, round of the sharp edges. Alittle clear silicone made them go in really easy. I only have two on the bottom mount right now. I will install the other 2 this weekend. Thanks for the offer of helping me. I think I will have it covered. If anything, I will contct you when I get it. We can just hang out and bs about how many kills we are going to have!!
Sounds good! I want to see the DP! I lowered my car on monday with the eibach pro-kit! It looks great! Very easy install!

You were able to install the springs yourself?

And what exactly is this REX inserts?
Yes I installed them myself! It took about 2 1/2 hours. It was very easy!

Rex inserts are sold by www.neoncars.com they fit into your stock motor mounts, making your mounts solid. They work great! All my wheel hop is gone! They only cost $28.00 a set, much cheaper than aftermarket motor mounts, and they do the same thing! One of the best mods I've done so far!

So you didn't have to use a spring compressor to get the stock springs off?
Yes I did rent one from a local car parts store but I didn't need it. I just wrapped the strut with a towel and used an air impact wrench 21mm deep socket, worked like a charm! Its very very easy!

So you have to buy 2 sets of rex inserts to get all your mounts filled, right? Have you guys installed 2 sets, or 1? Is it a noticeable difference? I was just about to order a set, but figured I would ask first. Is there alot of vibration?
Yes you will need to buy two sets of the 2000+ rex inserts, they are a tight fit, but they will go in. They come with instructions. Its a very easy install. There is vibration but you will get use to it. Its worth it! The wheel hop will be gone. The car feels much more solid. Its well worth the money, and much cheaper than buying mounts.

I checked them out.... and I think I'm just going to make a set myself.
 Hay daytona, I feel the same way. When I went to go pick them up, I looked at them and said I could off made these. But for the price, The money is well worth it.
Did you look at Dans Neon when you where there? Its bad ass! I bet it hauls ass!

Ya but I can sit down and have those done in less than a hour and use them this weekend

BTW how are they held in????
Like I said, they are a very tight fit, they won't go anywhere!

Hey guys, just wondering, what are 'rex motor mount inserts'? Who sells them, and how much where they? How difficult to put them in? Are they as good as new motor mounts? I am dealing with bad wheel hop now with my new MBC. Do these eliminate it?
They are inserts that fit into your stock motor mounts. You can buy them from www.neoncars.com They cost aroung $28.00 per mount. Order the ones for 2000+ neons, It will take about 15 to 35 minutes to install them. Its very easy! They will get rid of the wheel hop! They do the same thing that the aftermarket motor mounts do! They are just cheaper.

Ryan
you can get away with just oen set of inserts

this have been done on neon 2000+ for a few years with scuess.
i recomend doign the bottom moutn if you do. Many people have done just one set of inserts nd have had any problems that I know of. Two will make it stiffer

if you get inserts and want to tell me how they do or have questions I will be hapy to answer them

[email protected]

and if you want a rexmount vinyal sticker I will also be happy to mail you one just email me with your snail mail address.
