Yup, that was me. The second thread that is. Not the one racing in sample. I did have 3 other guy swith me lastnight and I took them or a test drive but no where near sample road and I did not race anyone at all. I then dropped off two of the guys and let the wrx owner drive it with me as a passanger. He has a full exhaust and a chip on his car and after the run all I could see was  on his face. :)

Also I have no tints in my car.

A chipped 1.8t Is pretty damn fast....
Evens up with an SRT-4 i would know i have one.
A chipped 1.8t puts out how much? If I remember right they put out less than 200 at the wheels. Which could well make the car damn fast depending on your definition, but I don't think a chipped 1.8t will come close to keeping up with a stock SRT.

Three people on board...plus "It seemed like everytime he would shift, he'd lose ground...". And and and "Why do ppl always find the need to call BS? He had 3 ppl total in the car, i was by myself."

Okay, nice run..BUT I don't call it a fair match. One driver each, then I'm in.

Crap like this makes me laugh. MODIFIED VERSUS STOCK. Now like us apply the same logic and modifed the SRT-4 to 20PSI and see the results...the other car is not going to win. The SRT-4 is a lot lighter and has room for more power. Remember SEMA and the GT Super Cruiser?

However, in turn I would use the Rustang turbo and give him a good ass kickin or let him eats some rubber chips or maybe the Swift GT with the my turbo kit. LOL

I think this is the thread you are referring to: a modded WRX vs a Stock SRT 4

Thanks.

Locally I use to beat on the WRX guys with a 25PSI Suzuki Swift Turbo Gt (350HP or 302fwhp). No match for the lightweight sub-compact (stock trim - 1775lbs).

Though, I can't wait for modding this car though.

NEwbie on Board!!! but wait a minute???

Hello everyone I am new to the forum scene but not on the street. My new car was the 2 door 2003 240hp accord V6 3.0 its fast I must say , until 4 days ago when I got the SRT_$4!! this ride is Blazin fast!! In so cal I always see this silver 1.8t its lowered limo tint rims exhaust... anyway I am in my SRT-4 and see him fly by and I mean he was @ 80mph on alicia coming from rancho santamargarita. Is took about 2 seconds to catch him and another 1.5 to pass, then the light turns red. I assume but cant be sure its chipped, had everything else done to it. Okay he revs and I dont. he blasts off and I take off @ about 1,700rpms then punch it minimal tire spin bam there goes 2nd gear and I mean he was becoming a molecule in my rearview!!! no way can a 1.8t even a vr6 or whatever vw you throw at it (in the price range) can touch the srt-4 !! Theres an audi S4 lerking around these parts and I want to smoke him too!! Nobody believes in the Srt-4 like "us" myself because I own one!!!!!! when I get stage 3 I'll get my illegal computer tampered, doctored smog certificate and I'l' bet the Sti becomes the Srt-4's latest victim!!! can anyone say HOLY SHTTTTT??!!
