ATP GT3071R with ALL supporting mods. Tuning with 3rd gear WOT, I have achieved 10.5-11.5 all the way through... then in 4th WOT I go lean to 11.9-13.1... same in 5th... wtf do I do now? If i add more fuel, my 3rd goes too rich...

3" DP with 3" exhaust, no cat
Ported intake manifold, TB and spacer
4" Ultimate JMB Intake SRI
FPR set at 43psi
Boost set at 22psi
Huge FMIC
ATP cold side with HKS SSQV

Everytime I see the AFR gauge hit 12's and 13's I keep thinking in my head "detonation, detonation"... I hate it....

Anybody know what the solution may be?

listening in....I hope someone can chime in on this. My friend has a srt swap into his 1st gen and he has somewhat of the same issue. He pulls like a raped ape in 3rd and 4th, but when he goes into 5th it goes really rich. So your going lean and he is going rich. He also has the bottlekneck fix, return line with fuel pressure set at 80psi. He doesnt have a safc though..only way we can tune it right now is by turning the boos tup and down.

Stage 0 ?

I have read here that Stage 1/2/3 will richen the AF 1 point in 4th & 5th

More load in the upper gears are causing the lean out.

your best bet would be to invest in an ebc that you can tune by gear. basically you can setup how much boost you want in each gear. If i had the money, this would already be on my car.

I have a Blitz SBC id-3.... I think it does that already....
