Hey guys! I need some help.

Last week I snapped my input shaft on my 05 srt4.

I located a rebuilt transmission, seller stated it has billet gears, new seals etc. it’s an 04 lsd trans.

I installed the transmission, realigned my act 6 puck, new Mopar tob, chromaly pivot ball, and reused my agp fork (5000km on it). I also have the DCR master/slave kit.

Torqued axles to 180ft/lb, driver axle has no play, passenger side has a bit of play at carrier bearing.

No noise when going from 1-2 but once in 3 the car is making a very loud humming noise. It almost sounds like I have giant truck tires. The sound is not relative to speed, turning left to right and does not go away at a higher speed.

Could this be due to the play in passenger axle?

There is also a slight vibration in gas pedal, and my alignment is somehow off, the wheel is crooked and pulls slightly to the right(I am also all solid mounts)

I’ve searched through the forums with no luck unfortunately.

any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Get the front wheels off the ground. Try and wiggle them in and out. If it moves, even a little, that's a sure sign of bad bearing.
