Yeah you did, Mr Daytona.

Now I get the exitement of feeling the G's pushing me back in my seat without that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that something is going to grenade, like that feeling I got with my '64 Pontiac.

Some of the heavier things I weighed as I removed them:

(From memory mind you...)

Rear seat Back: 28 pounds
Rear seat Bottom: 12
Trunk carpeting and sound deadener over wheel wells: 7 pounds
Spare (Took out last time): 28 pounds
Seatbels hardware 5 pounds
Package tray (Really stretching it now...): 3 pounds...
The 15" Koseis are only 13 pounds a piece...
Haven't had a drink of water in 2 days: That'as got to be good for at least 10 pounds.

You get the picture...

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not into that ricer drag looking sh*t. You know, steelies on the front and 45 series tires mounted on heavy 18's on the back, no carpet and a PVC roll bar, I just want to see how it'll react to a slight diet.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA   Thats what I'm here for.

Hey Matt in two weeks we have the ALL MOPAR drags at the same place you in?

I'm going to try to get a boost controller buy then and some of that high octane fuel you were using  I'm going to keep my car with full interior just to really piss off the ricers, like the guy in the civic that said he runs 14.2 but I never saw hime break 15. Must have something wrong with his NOS right

I guess you can take out the rear doors too since they're worthless now that the back seats are gone.

J/K, I remember weighing all of the stuff I took out of my drag car when I lightened it up. I'm looking forward to your times. Run it w/out the race gas this time.

I dialed in @
60' 2.095
1/8 8.953 @ 80.92
1/4 13.845 @ 101.7

I then broke out @
60' 2.052
1/8 8.827 @ 81.51
1/4 13.669 @ 102.97

This was on 3/4 of a tank of regular unleaded 92...:)

I think I'll keep the 15" wheels @ Drag radials and ditch the 17's.

According to http://www.atpturbo.com/turbopiping/monstermate/DodgeNeonSRT4.asp, their stage II ran 12.9 @ 102.3 MPH with 16 lbs of boost. I was ~ 13.

I was shocked - had to actually buy a helmet to keep racing once it broke deeper into the 13's.

I had at least a half a dozen folks approach me and ask to look the car over in disbelief that it really was showroom stock 'neon.' Almost all of them mentioned that a trip to a dodge dealer was in their near future.

Dude I told you you would need to have a helmet into the 13's

I think i will have some drag radials for the next time I race.. But I'm going to do it with my full interior. 8)

Will you be at the all mopar drags in two weeks?

The Honeycomb 15" Aluminum Neon wheels won't fit, but the Kosei's with 2 mm more offset do.

Mattraff, are you using EBC unit to hold the 16psi?
