How many of us over rev the RPM limiter since purchased?

How many of us ride the 5-6K range constantly?

thats the reason some of you get a bit of oil in the I/C piping trust me...
There's no reason to run this engine between 5-6k unless your accelerating. I cruse as low as possible, and shift to 3.5-4k to pass someone.
I've hit the rev limiter a couple of times. I usually shift at 5500. What can I say, my foot is heavy!! LOL!!

I think he means you're showing a lot of restraint in not ragging on it all the time.
Ahhhhh.... I get it. I'm a little slow sometimes ;)

I give it a good flogging. At 4500 miles, she's just getting broke in.
Mostly in first gear  I'm golden for the rest, but I do take it to (not over) redline once in a while.
i went over it like 3 times the first day i had it .. i just waan't use to the car yet .. i think ive done it once since
limiter

I'm used to being able to run up to 7600 RPM in my 98 R/T, so it takes
a little getting used to. I generally only hit it in first gear, usually accelerating off a right-hand turn.
I've hit it a few times. It's annoying as hell. When I'm racing, or showing off, I like to shift as close to redline as possible. But for daily driving I usually shift at 3.5k - 4k.

Hahahahahaha, I know exactly what you're talking about mang.
I hit mine once in a while. Like Pit Viper, I'm used to my 98 ACR and having an extra couple of thousand revs available
keep in mind it is a turbo car, a little restraint will give you a few thousand miles down the road.
what's going on, lately? "revive the old threads" week?

haaaaahahahah. i'ma find an ancient thread & post!
I used to drive a '99 Civic Si with 8000 redline and fuel cut at 8250 rpm, so yes, I've hit the rev limiter a few times on this car!
I've only hit the limiter once on the track (not good for times). On the street I tend to shift between 3.5 and 4 unless I'm showing off then its redline baby
