How long will the engines last?

I'm looking to buy an 04' or 05' SRT-4 soon.

I was wondering how long the stock engine/turbo/tranny would last? That is, with regular maintenance, very basic mods, and a driver who halfway respects the car (no dragstrip time).

A very long time.

Several people with well over 100K miles. Usually pretty hard miles.

40k miles j/k. With proper maintenance I don't see them struggling to get to 100K or so. People with 70k miles throw on big turbos still lol.

With proper regular maintenance it should last as long as any other engine/tranny.

There is plenty of people around with over 100K miles. Hell there is people around who have been pushing 500HP on stock internals for 60,000 miles.

how long does a candle burn?

what age will I live too?

your asking a question that doesnt have a definate answer.

I know someone on his 4th engine and the car only has 25K miles. I know others with 60K big turbo cars, that havent had a single issue.

any car if maintained will do 100k

shes a Gsxr750R

the 1000's have bigger dual exhaust. But the 750 & 600 look the same.
