it all depends if you have a mac or a pc there are different programs for both for my mac i use a program called senuti and for pcs the program is on this website http://www.ephpod.com/

I don't own an Ipod myself, but I've transfered from Ipod to computer for my brother in law. You have to select the music files under the Ipod in Itunes and then drag and drop the selected files onto the computer's file system icon. Yeah I know, how intuitive, I hate itunes.

someone else told me about that program now my next question is wether or not it will also bring over the artwork that is associated with most of the music I have ie album covers and such....HOLLA!!

depends on how you did the artwork, there are two ways, either embed the album art into the mp3 file or what itunes does is create a seperate folder for the album art, which sucks.

I embed my album art into the mp3 file itself that way it will always be there.

if its in the folder, i don't think ephpod or any of the other will bring it over, although, i've never really delt with that issue, let us know if it does :thumbsup:

u cant use i tunes and ephpod togather it will fuck up your ipod i just tryed it u wount be able to use itunes again

never had that problem with mine, i used to use ephpod and itunes all the time, not at the *same* time though.

how do you imbed the artwork in with the file? Care to explain?
