So I think I'm the first to do this, so correct me if I'm wrong...but I had an idea today while sitting at work, and went along with it after I was off.


Looks almost exactly like JMB, has a chrome finish that I polished with Mothers to make it even more of a mirror, and best part about it....


It cost 9 bux!!

Only the fact that you can color match it, other than that i see no real advantage.

i posted in the neo thread, what it made out of? im kinda waiting to see if its something that might rust, or oxidize down the road in the not to distant future... im not doubting its a good new cheap invention/replacement

Not anything new to me, but smart thinking nonetheless. I did this "mod" about 3 months ago when designing my own intake manifold. Just didn't quite have the room I wanted for the intake mani so rather than starting over from scratch on it I simply cut the center out of the rad hose and added in a painted peice of aluminum piping. That way I could rotate the end down some in order to get a better fit for the intake manifold. Here's a pic while in fabrication process...

And here's the finished result...
