Has anyone installed a resistor in the HOM LED so that it doesn't dimly glow all the time? If so, what ohm value? Thanks.

not sure that will work.. I tested the voltage with hom off and it like 6-7 volts dc and 12-14 vdc when on. I did get it to be a lot dimmer when I replaced the led with one from radio shack with a built in resistor. Before hand the red led was blinding me at night when on.

It's supposed to be at all times when the car is running.

i took the resister out of mine and now it only lights up when i turn on hom. I moved my leds into the heater vents so you dont see them till they are on and then they light up the vents

I know I read on here a while back that someone had done it, and that it had worked. I wish I could remember the guys' name, he's posted a lot in the audio section, I think.
