So I finally decided to order a new BOV because of how old and possibly worn mine is. I bought my SRT-4 with the first gen HKS SSQV and I ordered the HKS SSQV4. I have turbo flutter right now from possibly being stuck closed or not opening soon enough and I heard someone got rid of it by upgrading to the SSQV4 because of something called a dual spring valve. Instead of being a single spring that opens the BOV at a certain PSI, it opens at low boost too from having 2 separate pull systems. Is this correct? I also heard someone say it fixed their vacuum/boosting issues if it is stuck closed but I don't think I have those issues right now. What are the major differences between a first gen SSQV and 4th gen SSQV?
