HELP!!! Car Sounds like a Rattlesnake when rev'd????

It started a couple days ago. Its coming from the belt side of the car, near the power steering pump in that area. When i rev it it gets louder with the revs. The best way to describe it is it sounds like a Rattlesnakes rattle. Anybody ever heard of this or can help. Car drives fine its just the noise. Help me please...

Thanks
Mike

We found that a couple pints of white gas poured inside, then ignited with a torch, will rid the area of rattlesnakes... At least that works when they move into the gutter drains for the house.... Also found it's not really good for the drains, but at least the snakes are gone....

White gas? Damn you folks haven't changed a bit, have ya?

bewsted, now that comedy hour is over, sounds like a loose bracket of some sort, check mount bolts for all the accessories and motor mounts.

It's time to nut and bolt the engine compartment. Eventually you'll find the loose bolt and the rattling washer. I'd start with the motor mounts and hope it's not under the timing belt cover...

If you can't find it soon, take it in. The last thing you need is something like the timing belt tensioner coming loose...
