Bad slave???Check it out.valeriekay_2000 said:We're not sure if it's a clutch, or the tranny, but...
My husband put in an ACT 4 puck something or another clutch in his car ( I wasn't there for it) He adjusted the clutch pedal, and changed out the tranny fluid, and all the other "clutch job stuff" After about 1K of driving, and the clutch broken in, after the car warms up, it's nearly impossible to get the car to shift into any gears. It's fine when it's cold, first thing in the morning. With the car shut off, he can put it into any gear no problem.
With the clutch in, and in first gear stopped, the front end shakes so bad, no matter how hard he pushes on the clutch pedal. To get it into reverse after the car is warm, he has to shut off the car, put it into reverse, than start it up again.
Could it be a bad throw-out bearing? Or possibly low tranny fluid? Taking the clutch out and putting in a regular mopar clutch will be the last resort, but we're just looking for some quick things to check first. Thanks guys!
