Hey everyone I am new to srt4 I just got a heavily modified 04srt4 and I'm in Greenville South Carolina. Anyone know shops in the area that can tune or even work on srt's anymore? I'm new to the forum 1st time so I'm sorry I haven't been able to navigate the forums very well. I'm just wondering if any of you fellas or gals are in the area or know anyone in the area. Thanks again extremely happy to be here.

Welcome! Why don't you start by listing all the mods?

Agp 57mm turbo
Agp external WG
Agp log manifold
Fic1000cc
Boomba fuel rail
Wahlbro 255
3bar map and tip
Bc coilovers
Sdk coolant reservoir
Southbend clutch
Agp fork
All hard pipes
Hks bov
Sdk ported tb
Aem wideband
Wot box (removed)
Stage 2 crower cam
Battery relocation (trunk)
That's what all was listed as done. Now I just got it either off a tooth on timing or the cam is very lumpy the idle stays put cold 1k rpm warm 800rpm but the engine dances in the compartment like misfire prob vacuum leak maybe, because on boost guage it sits 5-8 vacuum. But If I'm driving in gear and let off it will sit 20vacuum. The turbo to exhaust has 1 missing bolt and 1 broken so when jump on it from 3500-4800rpm extremely loud under hood. So I need to fix that of course. I'm not experienced to work on the 2.4 but I'm not scared 2. I just don't see the normal 3 inputs for stock boost control on it anywhere. I just don't know what all has been done to the car as far as tune or vacuum lines as it's like going behind someone but I'm ready to tackle. I'm excited to see others cars and gain knowledge along the way. Thanks.

That's a nice list there, the only real unknown like you said is the tune. A picture of the engine bay, specifically to the right of the engine where the vacuum lines should be would be good.

That's exactly right. And idk where to begin. I'm scared to pull things loose and relocate. I'm almost tempted to make a fiberglass wall to cover it all up like they do when running wires for a system. Then have the entire side looking empty. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Get a vacuum diagram. Identify and mark hoses with masking tape. Relocate that coolant overflow. See if you can't mount it in the factory position. Move the pvc hose to under the manifold runners. Route that wire/fuse better coming out of your relays. Ensure it's being used. Then see how you can polish it up while everything is still marked.

Edit: Don't fiberglass a thing. It will more likely make it look like the car has been in an accident.

Going thru it a few min ago. The wire with fuse goes to the starter, so I can reroute but not take away. Noticed the wastegate vac goes straight to turbo no boost controller. So I guess I need to get 1. I have a electronic 1 I can throw on it. So I'm guessing I'm only using wastegate atm. Have not messed with anything else yet. Noticed coil is cracked where every bolt goes so ordered a new 1 along with plugs and wires also a heat shield. I'll just continue to clean it up a little make sure it's running right. I'm pulling the valve cover to check on the cams to see if they really crower stage 2 or stock. I found brutal speed about 1.5hrs from me. I believe it's Nemo have scheduled to drop car off middle next month. Maybe he can tune and clean up more. Anyone heard anything about him, or any reviews?

Nemo Foss? Many great things overall. He created a TCS system for the SRT4. As with all things though, I've seen some disgruntled reviews as well, especially as time went on. He is/was a forum member here.

Brutal Fab has always been very candid with me during correspondence.
I went thru alot of old like 2011 topics and heard people speak of him and that he did great job with them, I navigated thru many boards and tracked him down reached out thru email he responded pretty quickly. Apparently he owns Brutal speed. I figured he had alot of time with our cars probably since they came out. I'm hoping he can get me right and I can keep it under 1500 since I don't need mods just need guidance and tune.

My fault I meant Nigel. I put a boost controller on it today omg she is fast as hell, made sure to watch a/f ratios didn't drop below 11.5 just in case was able to go close to 20lbs but then after the pull won't boost over 7lbs I guess I developed a boost leak. 🤣 now I remember the turbo game fml and finding its not going to be easy and there's shit everywhere. Hope everyone else having better luck.
No I was making sure I didn't lean out without tune. I wasn't sure what boost it was currently tuned at. A little rich I am ok with its the lean for Detonation and pulls timing right?
Oh shit your right I think I'm backwards. Ok so if I was running 19-21lbs and it was between 11.8 and 12.2 that's not good. Ok I'll turn it down and try to make sure it stays below 11.8 till I get it tuned again. Only thing done was cams since tune so should still be set at 17 but maybe more air now with cams so 16 might be safer. Thanks I was thinking backwards.

Nigel tuned my car.
Runs mint.
had a friend of mine that he knows do the wiring so he would even touch it.
shoddy wiring will cause issues and then the driver will blame the tuner.
Sweet I emailed him he sounds cool. Quick question my turbo is ran straight to wastegate 12lb spring I have bought and sent back 2 manual boost controllers now no matter how loose or tight I make them it maxes out my guage so I have to let go. I'm using same nipple on wg and just putting directly turbo to bc to wg same spot what gives I now realize maybe there's 2 different nipples on wg but I left it on the same it was already. And I tried to check vac line to see if it was ripped and burnt the shit out myself. Anyways if I take off MBC and just go wg to turbo it's still 12psi no issues with leaks on line. Should I be going to different nipple on wg or because my spring is 12lb? Or should I just get another spring for say 18lbs? Sorry for stupid question I'm just stumped
FYI it's agp 38mm external wg
