funny you should post this. I didnt race one but last thursday or fri i saw one racing a lotus esprit v8....talk about sweet.

Yeah that would've been nice to see.. I'm still waiting to see one of the new Elise's around here..

Correct me if i'm wrong but does the web site state under the Pricing link, that the car deosn't come with an installed engine?? Other than that not a bad deal for the numbers and look.

Saw the new Elise around the streets of Boston the other day just looks and sounds sweet. But for the money would much rather have a Corvette.

One of the best handling cars ever!!!!! - but put in your own engine otherwise its like "flinstones, baby".:thumbsup:

drop a built SRT-4 motor in the back of that thing with a big turbo and "say hello to my lil friend" that would be one nasty beast.... but i believe they use a V-6 Ford motor with a twin turbo setup that most people use for the chassis....i would have sex with one of those if i ever saw one.....

I raced a gorilla

They used the Ford 2.5L Duratec engine from the SVT Contour, Detuned version available in Cougar, contour, Taurus, Sable, I'm sure a few others. Threw a few turbos on it and said DAMN This is fast!!!!
