I own a body shop and we have painted the pt cruiser door panels including the carpeted area behind the door handle.... i was wondering if anyone has done this to the neon door panels yet.. on the cruiser we removed the carpet area by grinding away the plastic rivets and removing the carpet and sand all the fuzz and glue residue left over... and then primer them untill the complete area is smoothed off... i believe i am about to do this on my e blue srt
just wanted to see if anyone has done this mod yet
thank you

I peeled the carpet off and put carbon fiber in its place. It looks awesome.

I got it off ebay. It is real 100% carbon fiber with a 3m backing. It is clear coated and uv protected. I paid 65.00 for a 2x2 piece.
