hey guys within the next day or 2 i will be buying a dual stage b.c. I hear the this unit is the best. here is what i am looking for. I want to be able to boost as little as possible in the low setting which i guess since i have a agp wg will prolly be only to set it as low as 12-14 psi. I would liek to do this to minimize part throttle boost i am getting while running 19psi and falling to 16. I would use the low for my daily drive to work and around town. I also see it has a balance knob does that help slow boost down? Basicallly i am just looking at peoples thoughts on how this setup works
my mods are
stage 1
mopar cb
psi fi intake
psi fi power paq
iceman tb
agp wg
turbo xs b.c.

Your car will be a beast. My low setting is a solid 14 psi that falls to like 13 at redline. My high setting is 20 psi that drops to 16 by redline. Never varies, always reliable. Awesome unit =D Look for super steve's settings for 14 psi, 19 psi respectively and work off of that. Thats what i did.

I'm set to 8-9 PSI "Low Boost" and 17-18 "High Boost".

I save fuel at 8-9 PSI daily driving, plus, I maid better 1/4 results with street tire with this setting. When I had my low boost at 12-13 PSI I was stuck at 14.11 but last time I tried with my new settings, I managed to pull 13.87 on our Canadian tracks! I have to admit that we have less glue on our tracks and therefore much less traction than on American Tracks!

i hate my profec...... i have it turned off....
But if you want to set the low boost to where it almost feels like stock low..... just set your wastegate to like 12-13, and then zero out all the settings on the Profec "low" side and there you go...... then have your "high" setting setup however you want it.......

its a pain in the ass to configure... and it makes the car feel unstable.... mainly the turbo. I havent seen a set way to configure it yet... some people are like, you have to set the boost to your desired pressure minus 4 psi.... and blah blah blah...

the damn warning doesnt work correctly 90% of the time... you have to cycle high low, to get it to go away.... and it seems to cause the turbo to spool to quickly no matter what setting i have it on.
It also causes the turbo to jerk and it drives the Mopar BOV crazy..... lots of flutter there. If you step on the gas and let it off quickly, the bov sounds like its all jacked up....

Boost is much much smoother with just the AGP WGA........

Moltenice, I'd return that then. My PRofec runs fine. No cycling, no surging, can easily configure it to hold more boost to redline, spool time, the warning feature works, etc.

Either that or you don't have it installed properly.

well i learned about the cycling trick in another thread.... so i know thats a common bug, and besides that, i think it's just the features....
I mean it wouls be aswome if the damn thing just went on psi, but instead you have:

Set: which is in % and this is your desired boost pressure... which is stupid IMHO...
Gain: which is in % and this is used to adjust boost consistency
Set gain: which is in psi * 100.... this is used to adjust boost response
warning is in psi
limiter is in %

set should be in psi for sure....as should gain.... set gain should be in % an limiter is fine as is....

but Khryz, what do you have yours set to, just for reference......

I like mine because I can have it off and run 4psi, or use my high/low settings. My only 2 gripes is 1, it is a PITA to adjust, and 2 The boost never seems to stay the same from day to day.
