GOT MY WHEELS POWDER COATED!

1718 Views 23 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  snobrdrdan2
Finally, I went from buying the car with stock black powder coated wheels, to buying chrome wheels that needed spacers and therefore having to raise the coil overs, to now having the stock wheels powder coated “Alien Silver” with heavy clear coat. Next move is to lower the coil overs again. Will post more pics soon.

Thanks. Now my slightly rusted front calipers look crappy so Im gonna get new red calipers and I have the stock red rears so everything will look stock and shiny! Getting that done and lowering the coil overs next week.

Those are some purty wheels!
Thanks. I liked the chrome but they stuck out too far with the spacers.
Yummy. Great job 👍

Continental makes a good tire, how do you like them? The Indy 500’s were on the car when I bought it, but they seem like great summer performance tires. They hook up good. I don’t drive in the rain so I can’t comment on that. I like them and the reviews are very good. First set of Firestones I have ever had and would buy them again.
