Going s3 need mods to hold me till then

Exhaust?

Exhaust x2 (cat-back and cat delete preferable)
Have you upgraded your sway bars? Brakes?

was thinking about that but i would love to go with the greddy exhaust but too expensive for my taste any other options also ptp i noticed ur doing a bigwheel s3 whats the going price on that?

I would do exhaust and a bfmic. I would love to go s3. I need the "fat wallet mod" first before I do anything.

swaysbars and strut bars are on there way havent upgraded brakes yet

ha yea i hear that im about to finish paying off my car so about 3-4 months of hardcore saving should get me the s3 fingers crossed.

def planning on the bfmic what exhaust would be recomended like the catless but cant have crazy sound cops hate me enought and i hardly ever speed

I still have about $5500-6000 to go on my car before its paid for. I need to sell my prostreet s-10 project and buy stage 3 with that money.

As far as exhaust goes....I love my needswings downpipe. Get the v6 (has cat) if you want it to be even more quiet. The cat-back is pretty much having a muffler or no muffler. A single exit with a resonator and muffler sounds like what you want.

im quite tempted to go cat delete but if i put an extra resonator on there to bring the noise down would it hurt the flow at all?

i think your right it would be wise to do that. I know bfmic and exhaust are reccomended for s3 but maybe ill just save it all and to it all at once.

Exhaust. And then get yourself a AGP wastgate, you can sell it after you get the S3. If you buy it used from the forums, you could get close to what you paid for it when you sell it. That's almost like a free mod:thumbsup:

whats the highest boost to put the agp at before i have to throw more fuel in because i dont really want to get a piggyback untill i figure out if i want to tune the s3 or just run toys.

If you think you will have problems with cops and a loud exhaust... Just go with the needswings V6 DP. the Cutout is before the cat.. so, when you open it up.. Bam... Free flowing. And havint it closed doesnt pull the attention that another exhaust would. Whatever you buy.... when you order your stage 3.. go ahead and order a 3inch stage 3 o2 housing. Dont order one now... because it will only sit around.. order at the same tiem you order S3.

Here are things to look into for Stage 3.
a CAI
Turbo timer if you dont have one.
a new IC with hard pipes.
T bolt clamps.
3inch o2 housing. [stage 3]
some type of 3inch exhaust.
If you are getting toys.. look into Meth injection.
If you want to wait longer.. Do some port work.

honestly if ur goin stage 3 i would get just a 3" tbe exhaust ( well not an o2 housing since u'll want to get one for the s3r) then get a agp or exhaust depot BFMIC, then after those 2 mods get bwoody solid mounts tranny and passenger side, bwoody hbrace + traction bars, and prothane suspension bushings. and if u still want to buy something before ur stage 3 get a devils own waterinjection. that will give u no wheel hop and a nice pwr jump till the s3r. also for the exhaust go with mpx its a great exhaust.
