anyways, my first three posts on your board have been deleted, or i cant find em.... i cant get mad cuz im a member of 2gnt.com, and they taught me all i know about the 420a....

anyways, i need some help.... or at least some answers that i am having a tough time answering myself..... (and ya, i did search a lil)

1. our injectors stock, what cc are they, and are they saturated or peak and hold style injectors.....

2. the ecu, are there two? i can see an ecu type unit in the dr. side of the engine bay, but i know on most turbo cars, at least from the factory, that the ecu is inside the cab due to heat issues in the engine bay?

3. i have read in some spots that our ecu senses the boost... is this true? if so, what is the max boost the ecu is able to see before going into "limp"mode, or dumpin waaay too much fuel?

4. with the stock fuel curves, what is the safest psi to run? (i know the stock map is 2.25 bar so the fuel is probably adjusted based on that and air intake temps)

5. the 12 wires on top of the air box, 3 or 4 rows of 3 or 4 (its early for me) on the pass side, closer to the intake piping... wtf are they for? like a maf? or air intake temps?

6. finally, a kinda funny ?, who the heck decided to route the exhuast the way they did?.... it sounds dope stock, but they shudda made it straight w/no bends.....

thanks in advance...... and please dont flame me... if the subjects have been brought up, just gimme a link and i'll read that.....

oh ya, motormounts... the pass side one is rediculous....... who offers a solid pass side, and then either inserts or replacements for the others?

my experiences with a ebc so far. (i cant answer anyother questions right now, cause i dont know the answers)

watching my EGT gauge it doesnt appear that the temperature has risen very much at all and i'm boosting close to 17 psi.

its spiked higher at times (while tuning) and even then no hotter temps have been observed.

The wires you see on the airbox are actually plastic vacuum lines that go to 3 solenoids. The air solenoids control boost, surge valve , Throttle inlet sensor.

Even though the map is a 2.25bar, it does us no good because at 17psi we hit fuel cut if you hold the boost for to long. I set mine to 15psi. If at the track I will do 16psi but not on the street. 15psi is a happy number.

As for the injectors, im yet to find out what they are rated at, but at 16,5psi the ecu shows 98% duty cycle.
