Few days ago my car died on me while doin a pull. Towed the car home and checked underneath it and my power wire on my fuel pump rewire kit that goes from the alternator was hanging on 2 strands and was burned threw by my dump tube. The fuel pump clicks but doesn't prime. Got a new rewire and still nothing. The car cranks but wont start. Possible that is shorted the pump and killed it? Or something more serious. Tried jumping the relay and nothing just clicks. All fuses were good including the 1 on the rewire.

I would verify that you do or don't have voltage @ the pump. If you do well you know the pump is bad. If not then you'll want a wiring diagram and trace out the circuit. In that case I personally would start @ the pump and work backwards until you find where you are losing your power feed.
