What is anyones thoughts about running a fuel cell in the trunk. Cutting a hole for the lower part of the sump to come through the floor for mounting of the pump and lines to be run under the car. The guys im working with on building a fuel system suggested the possiblity of doing this and running everything the same and eliminating the factory system all together. Removing the factory tank pump lines and everything. The proposed plan as of now would be to run the cell in the trunk into the aeromotive a1000 fuel pump and a -8 or -10 feed to the the rail with all the appropriate fuel accessories with a -6 return. But what are the thoughts from here. I had not seen anyone who ran a cell and thats why i questioned it before we just went all out on it. This car is about to go under a full rebuild but im trying to ensure that everything is lined out before the remainder of the parts are purchased. Thanks in advance.
