For those of you wondering what happend to my clutch

Well the people that came home with me from Long Island, know that I ran into some tranny/clutch issue's. Well I got the tranny out the other night and this is what I found. The disc actually melted to my flywheel :wah?!: . Not only did this ruin the clutch but it took out the flywheel and pressure plate. Im not going to name the brand of the clutch until I talk to the manufactorer tomorrow. This clutch had 970 miles on it. I broke it in properly and was just driving in traffic when the clutch wouldnt disengauge. Here are some pics. Mind you that everything was brand new

Wow thats not cool at all Tim. I was driving next to you the whole time and nothing seemes wrong untill you told me you couldnt stop. I hope for the best for you man. On another note though. I know you were saying how you like Evo's lets both go trade our cars in and get a deal on 2 evo's, You never know what could happen.

I dont need another headache. I would break an evo more than I have broken this car :stab:

Glad you fineally got that thing out Timmay, hope you can get another clutch out of it, DCR or CM stage 4 :thumbsup:

All I gotta say is 600hp my ass. :flame:

Hopefully I can have something new here and broken by import day the 23rd :thumbsup:

dude you told me you hadn't dynoed it yet. maybe you do have 23455HP and you just dont know it:eeeek:

if it is ptp its not even their clutch. they sell DXD clutches under their name. DXD offers much stronger variations but PTP doesn't list them.

is it a CM. We have had 4 go out in our area that we know of. never again

they went down hill. Everyone is going to DCR. they are holding strong here.

and i really hope its not an ACT. thats what on my car now

Forget about that PTP stage 4 crap and get a clutchmasters stage 4 6 puck.(Just dont get a clutchmaster stage 3 )

Yes I know this I didnt even purchase my clutch from a vendor here. But a vendor on these boards does sell this clutch

Dave rough doesnt even describe it. There is actually pieces of my disc fried to the flywheel :wah?!: .

YEa I heard Evos are jsut as bad if not worse than SRTs for breaking shit. Just throwing out the idea.
