My car has an ATP turbo kit in it, not AGP.

Very good observation!

I bogged really bad off the line...I was very hesitant to launch too high. On the [email protected] run, I launched at 3000rpms but that was OK because the emergency brake wasn't all the way up and I couldn't get a burn out. On the two other 12.8x runs, I did get a burnout but didn't compensate by launching high enough. I launched at 3500rpms and the car still fell on it's face!

Next weekend we plan to go to the track again and I will start my launching at 4000rpms and work UP from there. That should get me a much better 60' and consequently a better ET.

with 1.8 60foots I can see 11's in the house. I could tell from the beginning that the e.t. was due to no traction, as a 117mph trap on a rwd car would be mid 11's easy!

Hey Jean, I used to Rev up and ride the clutch at 3k to 3500 rpm's on Drag radials... now on the slicks i ride the clutch but at 4k to 4500rpm's.. what tire pressure where u running? the car has a Nasty 1/8 MPH!! Great Job.. remember this is you first time on both... Slicks and Bigger turbo, you'll get it next time!!:thumbsup:
