Dyno Numbers are in

And I won't publicly post them at this time.

I will say they were very hurtful, and I am ticked off as can be.
I had a fellow SRT owner with me and he and I both could not believe it.
The dealership will be getting a call/visit, and I fully expect this to be taken care of with great urggency, if not the internet will not get enough of me slamming DCX thru the wall.

Second day of owning the car, it didnt feel like the first day, but I passed it off as me getting used to the car, guess I shouldnt have overlooked it. :evil: :evil: :cry: :cry: :x :x

Did your friend dyno his and get good numbers? Keep us posted as to what's up. Were they below 200/200?

Yeah I would say you have a problem.
Before you get all bent out of shape:

-How many miles does your car have on it.
-What were the weather conditions?
-What kind of dyno was it?
-93 octane fuel?

Chances are there is a reason why your SRT-4 dyno'd low. Chances are its not that big of a deal...

post the dyno sheets.

Have you had contact with dealer?
I was there its not a good sign, we did do a run and he got the jump both times and i still pulled a car and 1/2 on him. My peak psi is 14.3.

Yeah let's see the sheet so you are thinking there was something wrong with your car??? You never know the dyno may have been F#$KED that does happen i heard of a guy around town who pulled like 120 hp on a supercharged B18a so dyno's do fuck up just keep us informed...

Dude..I wished it was the dyno. I even called the place back to see if they had any other unexpected results today. NOPE.

I was in 1st gear @ 20 MPH , HE in 2nd @ 20 MPH. I took a 1 car jump, and he reeled me in and passed me thru 3rd, by more than 1.5 car lengths.
When leading, distance is obscured

Any mods Cali, or anything strange going on? I remember you saying you were getting 17lbs of boost on the way home from getting the car, are you still making 17? I assumed the 17lbs was due to the warm weather, but my car made 12lbs in the cold, and it made 12lbs tonight in warm weather so maybe your problem is related to your high boost. Maybe the ECU was producing more boost to make up for the lack of power.

I know you're pissed about wasting the dyno money, but it alerted you to a problem so it wasn't a waste. I'm sure they'll figure it for you Cali. Good luck!
I noticed in my car that 1st and 2nd gears only make about 10-12PSI, 3-5th gears will get to as high as 14PSI, anyone elses car do this? Is it trying to limit torque in the lower gears maybe?

Before my EBC, my car boosted 8-9psi in 1st and 2nd and as high as 13psi the rest of the way.

Now, Cali, Second Chance (with an EBC) is gonna pull you cause it sounds like he's got 14.3psi in ALL gears. I wouldn't use that to judge your car. When you guys ran, what was your car boostin?
ok guys please lay off Cali hes very pissed right now and for good reasons. I had a brief convo with him and trust me guys just let him handle it and you'll see why the big mystery. I will say this...he is correct when he said it wasnt 5-10 horses hell the torque wasnt there either. I advized him to stay calm and see one of our local dealers who will be more than happy to assist. Thanks and sorry to hear Cali..wish ya mad luck.
what kind of symptoms should a new SRT owner look for to make sure their car isn't doing the same thing? i dont have anywhere local to dyno so it could be putting out less hp and i'd probably never know...
