i just got my AEM SRI and it came with a dry flow synthetic filter. do these flow as good as a K&N?

I was posting in another forum about this. But i heard from a reliable source that is loses half its effiency after the first time u clean it. I have no proof. But i do sell them and the source i got it from used the aem filter on his kit until the dry flow came out!

they have great reviews and videos on aem's website about this new filter technology. It looks like it's pretty good. AEM does there homework on stuff like this.

so your saying i can clean this dry filter??? how would i clean it?
also are these intake tubes coated with anything on the inside cause i just boltyed it up. i shouldnt have tryed to wipe it out or anything should i have?

oh by the way the inatake sounds so amazing i nearly sprung a boner. man can you really hear that turbo, even over the catless exhaust. amazinggggggggg sound. A++ for AEM SRI. I dont even need to listen to the radio anymore. the sound of the intake does it for me!
