I was wondering how many people were able to drive the car before you were able to buy it. In the dealers in my area they say that the only way i can get one is if i put a deposit on one before it even comes. Which means i cant drive one before mine comes in. Does everyone have this problem?

I didn't test drive mine before I flew to FL to pick mine up. What do you need to do that for? :?

Didn't get one, didn't need one. Flew to FL, signed the papers, left for home. Heck, I didn't even sit in it before signing the papers. 3000 miles later, still rocks :) I think you will find this a common thread amongst owners.

Yes. When Jack Powell call me about a RED SRT-4 is now in the prep stages, I jump in my car to the dealership. Yes! For those WRX'r, it was the little Geo with bizillon HP. LOL

They allow me to test drive the car on the back roads of the city. I drove the piss out of the car.

Now, being kind, I told them I do like the color yellow and not red. When is the yellow one coming in? I then walk about to my car and home. Searched on the internet and found one in thenext city over from where I currently live.

This dealership does not allow any demo rides. Hahahahhaaa

So, in so many words, I would not purchased that car, thanks to my nasty driving habits and turning the car off when I got back without a proper cool down.

I hope that owner does not reach this board. LOL

I was the first one to test drive one in this state, to make a long story short the dealer wouldn't come down on the price and so I went to the only other dealer that had an SRT and bought it with out driving it.

So yes I didn't test drive my car before I bought it. It came right off the truck with 5 miles on it, after it got a fill up it had 6 miles on it. So no one got to drive this one but the lot boy and I watched him while he went over to the gas station and back and he didn't even rev the engine.

The dealer near me actually let me drive it today. I went with my friend and he was talking to the salesman and I just went along. I plan on getting one soon. They took my drivers licence, photocopied it and that was it. He took the car up to 90mph on the highway. When he turned around, he let me drive and get on it too. I feel bad for the person who buys that car next, cause the car only had 38 miles on it...and i can tell you that the 4-6 miles we drove they were beater miles.

No one buy the red SRT-4 in whiteplains, Ny

LOL

Bought mine within five minutes of walking into dealer, and had to wait 2 weeks for it to come in. No test drive needed if u do your research correctly!
Believe us that own one, they are worth every penny and the wait.
