probably $15,000 Hopefully you bought gap insurance. This way it will be payed off. If you didn't get gap you will probably be upside down. The insurance will probably give you $15,000 maybe $16,000 at most just because that is probably what the dealer would give you if you traded it in if it wasn't wrecked.

yea...without gap insurance you are up the river. Warning to anyone...always buy gap insurance unless you pay cash. It's only couple hundred bucks (300 for a 40 grand truck) and it will save you're butt, especially with higher priced vehicles that lose much more value. Like when your escalade drives off the lot and gets t-boned 2 blocks away. :crying: Ouch, but without gap the settlement would have been 15grand less than the payoff...on day ONE of ownership...!!! banks suck, insurance companies even more!

15,000 is what they took an 03 in for.. i'd think 04 be more

They give you what it is worth, not what you paid for it.

Car is worth $17,180, they will probly offer him $14-15K. Whatever you do don't back down or cash any checks.
