With the key in the ignition but with the car OFF ( at no point in the following will the motor be running. If it does you turned the key to far) Turn the key to the ON postion the back to the OFF position. Do this 2 more times with the key in the ON position as your final move. If you did it correctly your odometer will flash any codes you may have example p01188 and such. So to recap. From the OFF position it will go ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON there you go.

how do you read the cel light when the car key is switched to the on position ,but not running when i do this my cel blinks about 10 times any help thanks matt:clap: but i not throwing a check engine light
