idiot~~ why would i bs about something like this.. its not even funny to even mention about jokingly.. im a nice guy..when something happens.. i tend to keep cool while the fire burns within until the fire gets so big, that i snap and go balistic! it was a short burnout... at the time when i wrote "long burnout".. It was replaying in my eyes numerous times while it was still fresh in my mind. believe what you want to believe... When it happens to you.. i will just laugh at you while im screwing your mom~!!!!

I hope everything works out for you man cause I would be pissed!! I would never left the dealership. I would have given the dude a ole fashioned ass whoopin!!

I went to a wedding 2 weeks ago that had valet parking. I dropped my wife off at the door and told them, "sorry fella's, I'm parking my own ride so where should I go?" NOBODY drives my car unless I have 100% complete faith in them. (father, brother)

Ok, I am a sales manager at a dealership here in S. Fl. We have alot of very nice modified rides come through our store. I have had to deal w/ this situation on a customer's S2000. A freaking porter went sideways and went for a joyride.

The situation went like this, I fired the porter for the joyride. I would not have fired him for "doing a quick burnout" though. Not that it's right but I woudn't have fired him for it on his first offense. Anyway, I ended up giving the customer a year's worth of oil changes, his service bill when he was here was about 150 bucks and I ate it.

The golden rule is, "when you see it, say it!" I would doubt a customers story if it happened a couple of days ago or approach it with skeptisim to say the least. You should have gone to the service manager right away. I ended up dealing with the situation b/c we sold the guy the car 3 days ago and I was the familiar face at the time.

superstrongbeast: even if some people are doubting your story it probably isn't appropriate to respond with the commentary you did even if it's hard to hear. save your breath and energy when it comes to stuff like that.

YEAH you told him off cause he didnt believe u. where was this loud angry mouth when they smoked the tires on ur car. thats when u should have gottin loud. hideing behind the computer with the loud mouth got u no where. u need to use ur anger in better places. i wouldnt go demanding tires then it looks suspicious i would ask them to dock the techs pay to reimburse u for an oil change or something. Ask them what they are going to do to help this and make sure it doesnt happen again. At my dealer we were smart enough to take the trans am's at least a mile away before ringin the snot out of them even the 2.4 sunfires and duramax diesels are fun. im sorry its wrong but i just learned from the best of them the sevice manager himself yep he beat the shit out of customers cars with me in them. he once caught me doin 60 mph in a duramax new truck in front of the showroom. i wanted to see what the diesel would do. all he said was damn that was quick but slow it down in front of the showroom. do that shit on the street.

ok... yea i guess your right, But "i smell Bs" isnt a way of telling someone thier story unbelievable. And I couldnt approach the problem at that moment because for 1. I wouldve done something stupid in the heat of the moment while i just replayed it in my mind 50 times per min. 2. he wasnt in that day 3. my mom was there to pick me up.. No time 3. had to get to work~~
Fact of the matter is that i could just come back a month from now and tell service manager.. He has to take my word for it because of my golden rule: Customer is always right!
Now for the video cameras... I diddnt know that and i will now use that in my defence...

If a business truly believes "The customer is always right," they won't be in business very long.

This was the 5 star dealership... Harztiem dodge on capital expressway auto mall in San Jose Ca
It's strange, every dodge dealer I've been to talks hella shit about hartzheim. One dealer told me they are going out of business too.

That sucks dude. I would have started a BIG scene. My dealer told me that after they certain carsin, they have to take them for like 3 or 4 road tests. Sounds like bull to me. I picked up my car with 33 kilometers. (About 20 miles) I sure would like to know what was done in that time.

glenn hartzheim is a crook! he's a liar and a fraud!...avoid him at all costs...he's had so many issues in the past...and the only five star dealers i've seen have been mass volume dealers nothing abotu quality and service...

again don't every buy anything at hartzheimm dodge...

Thats nothing... when these cars hit here in nY, the dealer guys were beating the cars in the streets. Everything you could imagine as far as hard core testing. From testing to racing others in the street. I know this for a fact cause when i was picking mine up, everyone was congratulating me on the purchase and telling me diff stories about their experience wit the cars. One guy told me he took a yellow one to CT and put it around 120mph

Mine was being prepped for the pick up and i saw about 3 others getting ready in the back. Only God knows what these cars have gone thru, including mine which had 26 miles when i left the lot
White Plains dodge in NY
I also have a bad taste in my mouth about them cause they seem to know nothing about the car and i also had a headlight problem recently but EVENtually got it fixed...They wanted to charge me and ditch my warranty  :( :(

if that were my car, i would have took that mechanic by his hair right to the service manager or whoever was in charge that day. that is a bunch of shit! i'm glad my dad works at the dealer i go to. i mean, i'd expect them to rev it up and get on it a little, but spinning the tires is to far... especially right in front of you. i don't know how you did'nt do anything right then and there. $20,000 is a lot of money.

you're the idiot...any person in their right mind wouldn't have left the dealership...so go blow smoke elsewhere
your right.. that was a idiot move to leave the dealership that day.. But I had more important things to do with my time.. like go to work.. otherwise, i wouldve punked his ass all the way to the unemployment line!

my car had 5 miles on it when i bought it and i think it came off the truck with 2, plus it was sittin in the showroom for a week after i bought it b4 i picked it up so i know that it wasnt abused. although the service still sucks @ the dealer and they know absolutely nothing about the car
(the extra 3 miles was from the test drive)

This has to be bullshit! My WIFE would not even just stand there and give someone a " hard, dirty look"!!!!!! She would've made sure we got something free or his ass was fired! (I've got her trained pretty good) If it was myself witnessing this I would've had a war flashback on that Piece of Shit. You should not let people get away with that kind of behavior, because he'll just keep on doing it now!

Ok now was it actually a smoky burnout or did he just chirp the tires, there's a pretty big difference? The guy shouldn't have done that with your car but it's hardly abuse.

Most of these guys are right bro, you're freakin retarded for not slapping the taste out of the techs mouth, right then and there.

Maybe you dont feel the same way about your car as others do, but from my point of view my car is like my second mom, and you just dont fuck with someones mama.

Most guys here are in the generation which likes cars and takes pride in them, like a hobby.

Maybe you just think its a car and dont really care if someone grabs your cars tits or ass...

I sure as hell would of put his ass in the figure four, Ric Flair style, until his friggin knee broke.

Then go try to put the service manager in a headlock. You know damn well they would do the same to you if they caught you doing something to void a warranty.
