bump... no one knows any tips to molding the carbon fiber? i made just a plain sheet, and am going to cut out the background for the emblem and just put that on, but i would like to know some easy ways to actually make forms out of it, instead of just sheets... such as the foglight surrounds, etc...
Carbon fiber question...
Ok, I just bought 2 sheets of carbon fiber, (29"x50"), and would like to make some little trim pieces just to start, and ge used to working with the material. The parts I want to make are: Foglight surrounds, the Dodge Emblem background, Rear license plate surround, and possibly B and C pillars... If anyone has any advice as to how to go about making these parts, or any useful tips to working with carbon fiber, PLEASE leave them here for me to hopefully gain some knowledge on the material!
