Car spiking 1.5 lbs and boost gauge bouncing with AGP WGA

Hey guys, I've been having some bugs in the cars system ever since I put on the AGP WGA. The car spikes 1.5 lbs before settling on the boost I selected, around 16 psi. I set it to 17, but it likes to pick and choose the boost.

I am running off the line going to the turbo. My red line is hooked up.

The car usually gets 16-17 in 2nd, 15.5-16.5 in 3rd, and holds 17 in 4th.

During the day, the boost gauge, at its worst, bounces from 14-17 but no jerking or anything, plugs are new, wires 3 months old.

My '04 when I installed an AGP WGA spiked -0- lbs. This spikes 1.5.

At 6100 rpm I am getting 12 psi at redline.

What's going on, and how high can I safely set the spike?

what are you smokin because i want some of that good shit:bandit:
Redo my vac lines how? Most are tiewrapped, the rear IC pipe under the turbo was tightened, my IC hoses have been tightened. I checked and pushed together most if not all the vac lines all the way as well, what else you got?
usually when you boost before 3k rpms you get compressor surge and the needle flutters. so as for what i am smokin, only the best :2thumbsup
have you boost leak tested it?.........if not make one or buy one because it dosent matter what you do there could be something missing or cracked that you cant see........that would explain the spike and the diffrent boost in each gear......when you tighen up an agp wg it basicly make the spring a xx psi spring so it should not fluctuate

in what 4th and 5th gear.....a stock turbo car with an agp will smoke the tires if pegged between 1st and 3rd gear below 3k rpms

understood, but what i am saying is try boosting before 3k in 3rd 4th or 5th, your needle will bounce up and down and you will hear fluttering. the compressor wheel is too small for that heavy of a pound spring.
