ok check this out this is the 2nd time ive put the iceman 60mm tb on my car.(first time i installed it with a bov couldnt really tell so i took it off) before i put the tb on my car it was running 17psi, put the iceman on took it for a drive. drove slow for a while felt really strong half way on the throttle, after doing this for a bit i hit the gas the car pulled hard until the higher rpm it started to feel funny and the turbo was screaming, so i pulled over droped the psi to about 15psi. hit the gas again and did the same thing, pulled over once again thinking its getting to much air dropped it down to 12psi, car felt really strong half way until i hit full throttle, and started doing the same thing, so heres the thing if i drive my car with the gas half way down my car pulls hard as hell, so my question is. does the tb have to be tuned or set because i can see some sort of bolt where u can set how far you want the throttle to open? im thinking maybe mine is opening to much????? sorry for this being so long. thanks

hmm...wonder what made his S2 run so rich...mine's been smelling awful rich lately, no Iceman TB either. Since i changed my plugs to the cold NGK's...i'm swapping back to the Densos see if that makes a diff.

funny, because i gained 25 whp after the iceman tb, cai & mopar catback  i know for sure the cai was rated at round 12 whp but see my stock airbox was already hacked so that should even be less than 12 hp gain on the cai itself. then the mopar catback is rated at 7 whp gain over stock.. still doesn't add up..

now, this guy is telling me if i swapped my stock tb back on i'll see another 10 whp? i seriously doubt it.

What is the size of the opening in the stock manifold, and did you bore it out to match the 60mm TB?
The Iceman TB (60mm) tapers down to like 54.6mm or something like that to match the Intake Manifold.

So your telling me you have a E manage and you are running to rich... Take away fuel. Or did you test this on a base stock car. Nemo has tested these throttle bodies and saw results. It makes no sense for this mod to not give results with even more mods. :bandit: :bandit:

check this out i think u can tune the iceman. right above the iceman logo on the tb is a black bolt (allen key needed). i guess u use it to controle how much air u want to go to the sensor. at first mine was all the way down and my car was running like shit, now that ive opened it abit its running way better, im going to play with it a bit more and see what happens.

If that is the bolt I am thinking off that should just be the throttle position screw.

What year is your srt-4? I know of somebody who has an 03 and has had 5 tps's go out on him and his car was doing the exact same thing you're explaining. He says he has heard of numerous people that own 03's with the same problem. And looking at my car and his, the 04 has a different setup for the tps. Have you tried putting your stock tb back on to see if that's the real problem? If it doesn't change the car's performance by switching back, it has to be the tps. I once replaced the fuel injectors on a perfectly fine tbi system (other than the leaking fuel injectors), and had to take the tps off to do it. After putting it all back together, I started having problems with fuel delivery. Turned out that the tps went bad just by removing and putting it back on. I don't know why! It just happened. I think they can check it with the DRB III tool at a dealership. Give it a whirl.

mine is an 03, i was thinking of that, i was also thinking, maybe for the 04 they use different sensors to deal with the 04 fuel system, and that maybe iceman tb was designed to work on the 04 thinking it wouldnt be such a big deal.
