Yeah my car wont go over 2400rpms im in 5th gear at 60mph with rpms at 2400. Im pretty sure its the cam sensor and I want to know if the 1995-2002neon cam sensor will work with the srt. LMK

Oh yeah the car also has a ruff start only when I start it in the morning but after I drive it for a while then start it up again it has a slight hesitate start I don't know if the camsensor has to do with it or summer gas.

your in limp mode, go to autozone and buy one for the 2.4l dont be cheap

Okay guys went to autozone today picked one up for 38.00 with tax and the car works fine now it revs over 2400rpm and no cel. Thanks for the tips!

No, but it's not a bad idea to do so. It is needed if the magnet is cracked. Cam sensor is so easy to replace that I would probably always try without the magnet knowing it would be 10 additional minutes to do the magnet.
