Over the past few weeks I have noticed a burnt oil smell coming through when I have the fan on. Kind of like when you spill a bit of oil during an oil change.
I am thinking this is drip on the intercooler - and want to install a catch can to remedy the problem. The car has 5200 miles, it is time to get it done.
What side to put in on, breather or PCV? This install page http://srt4.thebatanesislands.com/mysrt4/gal_20bux_catch_can_060203.html has breather, but a lot of other folks say PCV.
Will the can eliminate the stink? I will check the air filter to see if it is soaked, as well as the bottom of the IC.
