Just put on my mopar BOV and followed instructions. After install i turn the car on and rev it from neutral. Im only getting about 5 pounds of boost and before the wooshhhh sound i get a high pitch squeel. I tightened the bolts as tight as i could get them and it didnt help.

I have no aftermarket WGA or boost controlers.

you probably put it on backwards or something, take it off and make sure its on correct and then tighten the bolts in a sequence. For example, tighten one bolt a few threads then the other a few threads then go back to the first bolt and tighten it a few threads and so on, this will stop any leakage if there is any.

The main thing is to make sure that rubber gasket is in correctly. I almost put mine on the wrong way. Then make sure that back bolt, the one were you have to be a contortionist to get, is on tight. The boost in neutral is normal.

Thanks for the help. Im gonna wait for the engine to cool down. Thank you for the info about the boost...that is what worried me the most. I was afraid i had it put on wrong and was restricting boost from getting in or something. Ill take ur advise...thanks alot guys.

almost forgot....can the gasket be put on backwards??? would it make a difference since its so thin??? I was worried that might have been the problem but i didnt want to have to go through all that trouble if it was just something small. We all know how big of a pain in the ass those 3 bolts can be.

its on backwards man. put the gasket on so the half moon isnt covered at all. then put it on so the half moon is facing the passenger side (i think). you definitly have it on backwards though :hi:
Do you mean the points of the moon face the passanger or the round outside faces the passanger?
