Alright, so a few weeks ago, i tried testing for a boost leak, however it didnt end up working out because i was in too loud of a place. So i gave up, put everything back together and went on my way. Well as soon as i turned on the car, the check engine light was on. I checked the code and it was: P1854 which i found out was TIP BARO OUT OF RANGE. However, the engine light went off like a day later. Also, i have been noticing the boost gauge being really jerky sometimes. I brought it into the dealer about that and they are ordering me a new one which should be in soon. Anyways... i used to boost at exactly 14.5 PSI everytime in 2nd and 3rd, but now i usually hit 12-13 and never above 13. I have tightened everything, etc. but i dont know what it could possibly be. I even disconnected battery to reset PCM. Can anyone help?

Honestly everyday could result in a different psi give or take 1 pound. A cool or a hot and humid day can alter our cars quite easily. I have seen it on a very humid day in Boston here and saw a change during the night when it got much colder.

yeah i would accept that if it varied, but i always boosted at LEAST 14, and after i tinkered with the boost leak tester, since then i have been boosting lower nad havent even seen close to 14 once.

i have that problem too. not the engine codes but not boosting past 14psi. I used to cold or hot, then all of a sudden one day it wouldn't boost past 12.5-13 psi. Checked for leaks found none. Dealership says some SRT's just boost 12-13 which is bull. I was told it is the weather by some members but I don't think so.

i completely agree. i have had my srt since fucking 2003 and it has always boosted higher than this. hopefully i can find someone who has a good boost leak tester since mine sucks and use that. and stage 2 is coming soon too so maybe i will install that and then see what happens.
