Quick question I wired the boost gauge in the stock pod. Red went to a power source at the fuse box. Black was wired into the black that was running into the stock gauge and the green was wired to the white. These wires are for lighting the stock gauge. The VEI works great but when I turn my lights on no more display. Do I need to wire the green?

The black should be wired directly to ground.

The green should be wired to the headlights or park lights directly, since the stock lights wire is a power line to light a bulb with a dimmer, and the VEI green wire just needs a signal to indicate whether the lights are on or off. The VEI gauge gets dimmed through it's own settings.
