I'm trying to get a problem fixed with my paint and I need to know what the paint on the other black SRT's are like. I have quite alot of metalic in some of the panels on my car and I don't have any on the others.

I would really appreciate it if you would please let me know if you do or if you don't have the same problem. Maybe you may have it more or less I'd like to know. I'm going to use this as more ammo as I may need to get actively involved in this matter to fight it. And I have to drive 150 mile round trip to get my selling dealler to look at it.

The first service manager told me since another dealer did some buffing on the car that they won't touch it now (which is a bunch of bull) but the guy I talked to today said that he would look at it. I asked him if I could email him a bunch of pictures so he could see what I was talking about. He said "no you have to bring the car in so we can see it in person and see if it is really a problem". That right there gave me a bad feeling on what might come of my trip over there.

no problems with my blacj srt4 paint so far

So far the paint on my black srt4 is just fine. My experince with these type things is that you have to stay with it and go above those not helping you out.

Mine is black, but I dont want to look at it just incase there is metalic on it. Im yet to notice so ill leave it at that. What you dont know wont hurt you.

Actually, I'm half Irish/half Chinese .

No flakes in my paint, zero, zilch.

None in mine and I waxed it nice last week, so I would have noticed. Although I did notice some kind of metal filing that might have been painted over on the roof of my car. It's not noticable unless you are looking for it. No flakes in the paint, though. Sorry, I couldn't help.

I don't have the black, but I do have a paint problem or two with my Solar Yellow. Right under the driver's sideview mirror on the door is a straight line. Looks like it was taped off and touched up with clear coat. It's shiny from the line towards the back of the car and rough in front of the line towards the hood. Looks like a few bad paint jobs that someone tried to touchup. Also, my hood has clearcoat drips hanging off the front corner of the hood. I'll take some pictures and post them.
