Earlier today went to go from second to third and went I threw it into third there was nothing there. And then I tried putting into fourth and I was able to slide through third and fourth with no clutch. But it would get stuck and would drive in neautral. And then I would try and go through all gears to get in un stuck and when it sould fall out it would feel as my tranny fell out hahahaha. Also to make it worse dont know if it has anything to do with it but it feels as my powersteering is all fucked up to. Any ideas????

I dont wanna drop like 100 bucks or whatever its gunna take for the diagnostic if I dont have to??? But any other suggestions???

I'd say tranny. If your car has an LSD that could be contributing to your trouble with steering if something is out of wack in there. Just my guess. Do 1st, 2nd and reverse work?

Does the clutch itself feel like it is fully engaging & disengaging , once in gear ? By that I mean in first , with the clutch pedal on the floor , will it try to creep foward on its own ? If not , the clutch is prolly not the problem .
Did the tranny ever kick out of a gear when you let out the clutch (most people experience this in third gear) ? that is a symptom of a tranny going south . If you can get it in neutral , does the tranny make considerably more noise with clutch engaged than disengaged ? If so ,prolly tranny .
If it is your tranny , I suppose it could just be a broken shift fork . If it is a problem with the gearshafts ,..... well ....hope you are under warranty .
I hope it is not a screwed up tranny , but so far , what I have read & experinced first hand is this , If you are not sure if its your clutch or tranny F'ing up , its prolly the tranny .
Look through the Drivetrain section & see if any symptoms others have had match what you are getting .

If I remember correctly, there is a plastic gear in the top of the tranny for the gear selector. If that goes, you will have problems trying to change gears.

It should not cost more than 70$ for the first hour of diagnostic .
Problem is that dodge specifies 2.? hours to get to clutch . So , for a one hour diagnostic they will start your car go thru gears and say "yep , somthings messed up . 70$ please !" If you are still under warranty they will blame the clutch (not warrantied after 12,000 mi.) because they get paid by you . This should be less than 5 hours labor & 350-400$ for new clutch .
Once they get new clutch in , they will then realize its the tranny . That will be covered by warranty (if still good) but you will still have to pay for clutch (not install).For me , it took 2 months to get my dealer to finally replace my tranny under warranty .

apexcrazy you described every problem I was having from the tranny spitting it out of gear to everything else. I was on my way to the dealership driving it ofcourse 1st and second and 5th were working then I was about less than a mile away and the car would go into any gear and the only way to move it was with the clutch in. So good ol AAA came to the recue. I got to the dealership and told them it was the tranny so they put warranty on the receipt so Im not going to have to pay anything. Im saying my prayers that they dont come up with some BS.

Get my car back on tuesday. Tranny was thrashed to the point where I was almost to the dealership and the whole car shut off cause the gearing wouldnt allow the car to move. I made sure they werent guna play games and they only scared my once when they told me to authorize 712 dollars for removal and inspection of the tranny. The next day I went into the dealership to get some stuff outa my car and they told me we will cover it under warranty. So Im stoked rebuilt tranny for free. Oh and for some reason my power steering belt was twisted on the pulleys....dont know how dont know why?????
