So, this is just a question I've been thinking of for a while. I've seen a few SRT4s that have stock (and most small sized turbos) with dyno #'s that show around 300-350hp with massive torque #'s. I know that these small turbos build boost super quickly and really low in the rpm range (compared to big turbos), and i was wondering if the high torque #'s are more of a spike in torque down low or if torque is more consistent in the rpm range (im guessing its the first situation, but i just want to make sure).

i'm sure if you go looking around at people's posted dyno sheets you'll get your answer.

the question about how useful that torque spike is, would depend completely on what the vehicle is being used for, and how much traction the car is able to get.
