So I am trying to find replacements for my front struts as mine are leaking. Found the complete kit at O'Reilly auto parts under part number 34DG1107. When I went to install them they were about 3 inches too long.. My guess is to remove the lower sway bar to get the knuckle low enough to attach them? Or am I doing something really wrong/potentially have the wrong part? The part number is stamped on the side and matches what O'Reilly auto said is a match for my 05 SRT4. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

*I don't have 1600 USD to buy 'performance' Shock/Struts at this time.*

most people by raceland (mixed reviews) for cheap coil overs, $300

i couldn't find your part number..

if you search the FAQ suspension section srt4 struts are basicly the same size as 2nd gen neons, but the perch is higher (about an 1") to accommodate for the larger diameter wheel -- rephrasing using 2nd gen struts will rub with srt4 tires..
