I've got a few stripped studs up front that I'll have to change very soon. Any tips / tricks to make this task as easy as possible for me? Any how-tos available?
ALSO, I screwed up one of the back studs as well - except in a different way. I was actually taking off a wheel when *somehow* the lugnut got stuck on the stud and I ended up spining the stud along with the nut. I assume that the stud is stripped and hopefully I can replace it and not the entire rear hub.
I'm calling the dealership today to see if the warranty will cover the back stud problem. I know I'll have to fix the front because I've stripped them myself, but I will at least ask about the rear.
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice!
