get new bulbs. 3157 is the bulb number i'm fairly certain (do a search). rice-boys should have them in stock, or you can get the titanium ones from modern and stay legal.
i have the titanium ones. they look chrome when off durring the day, but light up amber at night so that they are still legal. cops around here will give tickets.

Or instead of giving your 15 bucks or so to APCrap, you can go to AutoZone/Advanced and buy clear OEM turnsignal bulbs that light up amber for 5 bucks or less.
